Meraki Mind & Body
As the daughter of a first responder, I've witnessed firsthand the immense dedication and sacrifices made by those who serve our communities. Growing up, I saw my father navigate the physical and emotional challenges that come with this demanding role, often putting his own well-being second to his duty, and sacrificing relationships and connection to the life around him. It was this personal experience, and my own personal healing journey, that ignited my passion for creating wellness tools to support first responders and their families.
Developing wellness and mindfulness resources tailored to responders’ and families’ unique needs became my mission. I wanted to offer something that could truly make a difference in their lives, helping them to manage stress, recover physically, and maintain mental and emotional balance. My goal is to ensure that first responders and their families have access to the support they need to thrive, both in their professional and personal lives. This work is a tribute to my father’s resilience and dedication to healing and recovery, and a commitment to the well-being of all those who selflessly serve our communities.
Meraki Mind & Body is the home of Mindful Impact programs, designed for first responders and their families. These programs offer practical tools for stress management, physical health, nervous system regulation, and mindful lifestyle techniques. We work together to support and restore our first responder families and community.

Meet Krissa
Krissa supports first responders and their families through the stress and hypervigilance resulting from the first responder's life, integrating wellness practices and nervous system regulation tools to create a work-life balance.
While supporting her retired law enforcement father through alcohol recovery and stress diagnoses, she realized the profound lack of wellness resources for public service professionals. She has made it her life’s mission to support first responders and their families to achieve optimal physical, mental, and emotional health during their years of service and beyond.
